Assignment #3 - Bjørnar V. Christiansen

The company website i will be evaluating is Red Bulls official Facebook page. URL: https://www.facebook.com/redbull?ref=stream&hc_location=stream

Content Flow
The Red Bull Facebook page is providing new material more than once a day, mostly photos and videos, but also articles and stories as well. Sometimes they would include a question in the post, to get people engaged in discussing the status, video or photo which is posted.

Customer Service Portal
It looks like Red Bull have turned off the the function which lets users post on the page, and the page does not seem to function as a costumer service portal.

Participation
User participation is prominent on the web page. Some of the posts have a significant amount of comments and likes. In terms of events, Red Bull regularly hosts sports-, adventure- and music events in some of their markets.

Premiums
To attract users Red Bull is sometimes giving away free tickets to their own events through the Facebook page. They do also normally offer you to stream all their events, which is great.

In general, most of the content on the Red Bull are either photos, stories or videos from different sport, music or adventure events. For example, the different types of sport vary so much that there is something on the page for  people with different interests to watch. These videos/stories/photos are the core of the Red Bull Facebook page, and there is less emphasis on this site being a Customer Service Portal. I think Red Bull is doing a good job of social media marketing, because they are engaging the users in live events and with a lot of video material which is fun to watch.
